Working out and keeping fit has always been about more than just physical accomplishments for me. With over 10 years experience in Fitness, I have learned to slow down and enjoy the mental health benefits of keeping fit. Going from being unable to run a mile in Lockdown to completing a 50-mile race in just over 9 hours, and building the mental strength to keep running when my Legs were completely exhausted seemingly unable to move another step but continuing to keep putting one foot in front of the other until the finish.
As someone who has in the past struggled with mental health issues, I have found a way to keep pushing myself to the next Personal best or goal to keep becoming better and better along the way, because there is no better feeling than the gratification you get by pushing your body to beyond where you thought was possible.
As a Personal trainer I am all about making workouts fun, functional and helping Clients not only achieve their physical goals but helping to defeat those self-deprecating thoughts along the way.
