Kit Warford

After coming out and discovering who I truly am, I wanted to figure out what I enjoyed after all these years of finding myself. I thought about going to the gym to improve my mental health and fitness levels. I signed up and started going a few times a week, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone by attending classes and using the equipment around the gym.

I decided to join the Wilder Fitness community and quickly noticed how much my confidence was growing. I was stepping into areas of the gym that scared me and that I had previously avoided. Being part of a supportive group made me feel valid and accepted for who I am.

Through meeting up with members of Team Wilder for gym sessions, I realised that I had the skills to help and encourage others to push themselves and become more confident.

I want you to know that all body types and abilities deserve to take up space in the gym and no matter where you are on your journey or your fitness ability. I will be there, supporting you all the way.
